We would like to invite you to participate in a Yogathon and Meditation fundraiser “Stretch to Reach”organized by the Chinmaya Organization for Rural Development (CORD) in Central Park, New York. This will be a great event where 200 people will come together and do Yoga and Meditation together. The meditation will be led by Acharya Arunji of Chinmaya Mission
The 2014 Fundraiser is dedicated towards war widows of Sri Lanka.
CORD Sri Lanka has been working relentlessly to help war victims in the North since 2010. Many of these affected include war widows with 3 or more children who have minimal income and live in unfathomable conditions. CORD Sri Lanka strives to empower these women so that they become independent, self- sustaining and can provide for their families.
